Marisa Sanwo

Marisa earned her degree in occupational therapy from the University of Southern California in 2014. In the 9 years since, she has gained experience working as an OT in a variety of clinical settings including skilled nursing facilities and assisted living facilities, acute care and home health and is now excited to use this knowledge and expand her skill set to help patients at SCV Therapy Services. Her favorite thing about being an OT is getting to help people every day and believes it’s important to treat the “whole” person as opposed to just a diagnosis or a symptom.
When she’s not working Marisa can be found running her small online business or spending time with her husband, 13-month old daughter, dog and cat. She enjoys live theater and going to thrift stores in her spare time.
